Transfer Station MapFor the convenience of it's residents Melrose Township operates a refuse transfer station with recycle facilities.
Through a contractual agreement this facility is also available to residents of Chandler Township.
The cost of refuse disposal is established by the Melrose Township Board during the annual budget hearing in March. For current rates go to the Schedule of Fees.

Hours of Operation

Saturday 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM 
Monday 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM 
Friday 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM (June, July, and August only)

Recycle Information
Melrose Township participates in the county recycling program and our transfer station serves as a point of collection for recycleable materials. For details on what materials can be recycled and other requirements please visit the Charlevoix County Recycling Program.
